Great Rioja from one of my favourite bodegas. Beautiful brick-red colour and smell typical of old Rioja. Still showing well at 28 years. Wouldn't keep for more than 30; developing acidity with notes of apple alongside oak and old grapes. Still an experience, would have been fabulous with game. — 12 years ago
