Magna Vides’ entry level wine, a very fresh and unusual blend for Ribera del Duero (95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha), sourced primarily from the winery’s youngest vineyards. Beautiful, fragrant nose. Lots of red fruit. Subtle herbal notes (mint, licorice, typical in La Aguilera). Fresh, velvety — 7 years ago
Very smooth. More fruity that other Luis Canas wines I've had but not sweet or tart. Great balance. — 10 years ago

Elegant Tempranillo-based blend (I believe it includes some Albillo) from 100+ year-old biodynamically farmed vineyards in La Aguilera, one of the most desirable areas within the Ribera del Duero appellation. Aged in used French oak barrels for 14 months. Smooth, balanced, balsamic notes — 7 years ago
Deep dark purple with slight garnet tinges in the glass. Abundant and bosomy nose of red currant and cherry pipe tobacco. Echoed on the full-bodied palate with plum and (as my dinner partner noted) a shade of beets. Medium plus tannins. Medium acidity. This is one big wine. As much so now as when it was young. Hearty omnivore fare will serve it well as would, frankly, a few more years laying down. No really. 2025 is not out of the question. — 7 years ago
Excellent Ribera Del Duero. Very tart, almost licorice up front, then reveals a bit of sweetness. Very dark fruit. Medium to full bodied. — 10 years ago
Seco, afrutado con sabor a cerezas en el paladar.
Muy bueno. — 12 years ago
Aunque un poco joven, es un vino con mucha personalidad
