Ripe round blueberries, olallieberries, spiced plum, black cherries, black raspberries, black licorice, violets, Asian spice, baking spices, black tea, crushed/powdery dark minerals, dry light earth, nice acidity and a 45 second round lush ripe fruit finish. Drinking nicely with only four years of bottle evolution. Artemis is a nice value in an otherwise pricey SL lineup. Priced right at Costco. — 9 years ago

One day I'm going to qualify in my mind how Laibel is different than producers from other, more exalted Riesling regions. For now, the best I can do is to say that the Klingelberger is to a dry wine from the Wonnegau as a great and classic Chablis is to a wine from Puligny or Chassagne. It's really a quiet sort of excellence and a subtle beauty. — 9 years ago
Delicious, despite sl oakiness, with mozzarella plate at etica — 12 years ago
A little short on the body but otherwise quite good and with the spicy finish it could continue to age longer. (11-18) balanced, sl dusty fruit, soft tannins, well received — 7 years ago

100% #parraleta #grape from #Bodegas Sers of #Somontano Hand harvested and aged in American Oak. Parraleta is an #indigenous grape from this region and is very challenging. Bright acidity and rustic #tannins this is one of the best examples. Excellent aging capacity. — 9 years ago

Garnacha, Jaen (mencia), a host of others. Can something be both Mediterranean and mountainous and reflect character of both? Yes, here's proof. Wild side of garnacha- sage, thyme, black currant- mixed with licorice and plum. Sawdust tannins but non invasive and bright, clear acidity — 7 years ago
