This is some serious juice for $40. Enticing florals of leather, flower petals, grilled meat, cigar box, anise, and vanilla on the nose. The pallet is deep and concentrated, full of defined layers - exhibiting notes of dark cherries, casis, more leather, licorice, and bell pepper. Made from 50 year old vines, and aged 18 months in American and French Oak, produced by Jorge Ordoñez. This was fantastic with grilled lamb, but believe it or not it was amazing with baklava of all things! — 8 years ago
