An awesome white blend that went well on a hot summer night with cheese and crackers! — 7 years ago
This wine was such an experience - and to think I got it free from the Morales family themselves in Spain.. What a treat. My first Rioja blanco reserva and it was fantastic! The nose was extravagant with a staunch petrol note, backed by toasty oak (the most I've smelled in a white, due I'm sure to the 18 months in new French oak), cinnamon, and a touch of mint.
The palate is medium bodied, melon notes and tons of minerality abound. A fresh lemony acidity rounds out the palate. I would have guessed Mosel Riesling if tasted blind.. What a unique and delicious wine. — 10 years ago

Drinking with Karla and Loli. Warm, full bodied cherry flavor. — 9 years ago
Great rosé from Rioja! Very salmon pink in color, and crystal clear. The nose was full of strawberries, some spice notes, and a very faint note of earth and mineral. The pallet exhibited notes of ripe strawberry, ruby grapefruit, and lemon zest, with a highly acidic, but refreshing finish. I wouldn't mind keeping these around for daily consumption!
Cheers!
