One of the most complex wines I have had. Rich mahogany, cool cellar nose maybe a hint of sweet black fruit. Again, projects this soft texture yet has so many layers on the palate. Madero leaf, toffee and milk chocolate blanket the palate. On the finish I get the return of the black fruits and smoke. Beautiful- — 7 years ago
Like a warm piñon campfire, from the next Valley, this nose wafts.
Blue vs red berries throwing fisticuffs around my tongue, refereed by a stavely gent, in a light, acid suit.
(Sometimes I channel Randall Grahm)
I love this wine house. Amazing.

Full-bodied, yummy fruit-fwd 100% Sauv Blanc. Had at Sheraton Hacienda (Cabo Xmas Eve '14), paired nicely with pork belly, scallops with charred corn and some foam, salmon with curried lentils. Lovely MX Sauv! — 10 years ago

Had the 2011 last night at Las Ventanas al Paraiso (Rosewood) in Los Cabos. This plus their 2013 Chardonnay were amazing. Loving my Mexican wines. Low alcohol, nice distinguished fruit. This was classic Stags Leap style. — 10 years ago
Concentrated and silky Syrah with ripe plums and other dark fruits in the nose and a very long and persistent finish. — 10 years ago

Something different. Good buy. Deep inky color. Toasty oak and balsamic on the nose. Ripe fruit and crisp acid — 10 years ago
