It already started to show some signs that it was going downhill (teriyaki and soy sensations) one year later and I think it wouldn't be nearly as good. Big dark cherry and plum Jose with ripe Syrah perfume. A little over the top with notes of cherry ludens and mint coming on. Layered, a bit of funk. Reminds me of the one really good SQN I had without quite the same mid palate density and with a shorter, drier finish. Still one of the better Washington State wines I've had. — 9 years ago
