2013 Vintage. Better than last note.. — 6 years ago
I’d like to know what Edgar Alan Poe has to say about this bold and impressive wine. Smoky and peppery with a nice, dry finish. We are enjoying this while nibbling on dry cheese and putting together Thanksgiving dinner. — 7 years ago

Smells of candied apricot, dried fig, and Smokey edges.
Medium bodied, yet towards the heavier side, deep Smokey fruits, tabac, black cherry rolling around in the hay with some garrique and acidity. Dark tones linger on like a good old fashioned Edgar Allen Poe story.. — 5 years ago

Light bright cherries not too spicy delicious — 9 years ago
After a much anticipated family trip to Transylvania this August was canceled, the fact this Romanian wine (from Transylvania!) is so (and I really mean, sooo) good, makes the reality of that not-going-to-happen-anytime-soon-family-reunion even tougher. That said, I’d like to take a moment and say HOLY COW... NO WONDER DRACULA LIVES WHERE HE LIVES. These thirsty orange-wine producing vampires are not horsing around. Unfiltered field blend, fermented on the skins, humming with tangerine, lemon, lilies, effervescence and blah blah blah, buy it, serve it chilled. — 5 years ago

Supple wine, hint of melon with a vanilla nose. Nice finish. Highly recommend. Only 29 cases produced in 2009. — 7 years ago
I don't know why every time I drink Medoc I think of Edgar Allen Poe's The Cask Of Amantillado but there it is..not a bad way to go; drunk and get walled up. Well in this case it would not be a bad bottle to be walled up with. Good notes of leather and blackberry with a long finish that doesn't disappear after 5 seconds on the palate (an unfortunate tendency of some other '10 Bordeaux that get hyped by the pros. Had this with a butterfly'd leg of lamb and rosemary potatoes and it was killer. — 8 years ago
