Discovered in my wine collection this 18 year old Tempranillo crianza from Altos de Rioja. Worried about having gone bad. As soon as as uncorked it knew it was fine. Cork was fine and got a burst of bouquet. Amazing for an inexpensive young Rioja to be so good. Smooth and velvety as Tempranillo should be. Good with grilled red snapper. Life is good. — 9 years ago

Bravos cinsault 2016
Light ruby color. Aromas of bing cherries, pink peppercorns, and bubblegum,
On the palate, light body, fruity with that same bubblegum characteristic. Bright acidity and med light tannin. Juicy and vibrant. Fun wine. 9.0 — 8 years ago

One of my favorite grapes in a surprisingly versatile wine: strong aroma, but mellowed with aeration and breathing. Paired well with crackers and cheese, an asparagus risotto, and even a vanilla frozen custard with fresh berries. Three courses of yummy! (2011 vintage on July 24, 2015) — 10 years ago
