The notes on this one read "considered old in 1850". Was to me the most complete & elegant Maderia in a lineup of old bottles. The flavor spectrum this plays in blows my mind. — 11 years ago
In his book on Madeira, Alex Lidell wrote of four undated but ancient Henriques & Henriques wines called the "Heavenly Quartet." This was one of them. Likely a blend from late 18th century.
