2001: Sweet spot. In that middle twilight area, where there is still a depth of sweet fruit, yet moving into a mature status. Roasted beets, soy, and meaty - a blindfold test would suggest a lush Cote Rotie. Really showing beautifully now, yet will continue to match glycerin to fading fruit as aging continues.
