Really enjoyed the bottle. It was crisp and drier than I expected — 9 years ago
Very sweet! But I guess it is a honey mead! Lots of strong current taste, with a hint of other berries! Would definitely buy again as a dessert wine! — 9 years ago
Big dry flavor with very nice, big black cherry vanilla finish. Go go idaho! — 10 years ago
My first Mead and it is delish! Crisp and light. Perfect sweetness! — 10 years ago
My first Idaho wine and I have to say, this is good. Really good. Nicely perfumed nose of violets, black fruit and white pepper. Smooth and soft flavors of blackberry, ripe plum and black pepper. Only downside is the 14.8% alcohol gives a bit of heat on the finish. — 11 years ago

The flagship wine from Burn Cottage, a Central Otago, New Zealand producer focused on Pinot Noir. Husband and wife owners Dianne & Marquis Sauvage sought out Ted Lemon of Littorai, and SF Chronicle's winemaker of the year for 2010 (Jon Bonné: "The simple version of Ted Lemon's story: Young American goes to Burgundy. Becomes first American to run a Burgundian wine estate. Comes back and stays true to Pinot's motherland."). Lemon oversaw the planting of the vineyards, along with all aspects of vineyard management and winemaking, chief of which being Biodynamic from inception. The label is a derivative of a 1795 fairy tale called “The Green Snake and the Beautiful Lily” which represents the ideal intersection of people and the land reflected in Biodynamics. Black cherry, citrus, and lavender pastille, with some secondary loam and herbs. — 9 years ago

T. Bouton Beau-Beau
24% Cab Sauv, 44% Merlot, 32% Malbec. 2016 “Valentina”. A very balanced wine. Some dark cherry and vanilla on the nose with the winemaker’s note of “black tea” holding true. Nice body to it. Subtle tannins with a smooth lingering finish. Hooray Idaho! — 7 years ago
