I have to toot my own horn a little on the cork removal gymnastics I performed here. Magyver would have been proud. Big wet earth component, nose of Genoa salami and tobacco. A touch of spice and cherry. Plenty of fruit but tannins dominate. Still nice on day 2. — 10 years ago

Big fruit! — 11 years ago
Great juice. Still has life big tannins. — 11 years ago
Delicious and big! — 12 years ago
Big round grassy and tropical fruit. — 12 years ago
Big tannins offset by big berry taste, but it comes off very balanced and restrained. Excellent with a cigar or a thick steak. — 12 years ago
Really big cab. Bethany from K hooked us up with a glass. $99 bottle — 13 years ago
Big. Jammy. Blue fruit. Rich. — 9 years ago
Dark fruits scents give way to a moderately acidic mouthfeel that has bramble and tobacco flavors. Medium body moderate tannin. This is a rather big wine that pairs well with steak and potatoes. — 10 years ago
Big fan! Great wine from Woodward. While some are thrown off by the amount of sediment, didn't change my opinion one bit. — 10 years ago
Citrusy and complex, big enough you will never believe it is a Sau Blanc. — 11 years ago
High octane Washington State cab. This was a gift from a friend and satisfied my desire for a big velvety red. Interestingly it became more complex with some black pepper and coffee notes after 2 days open. Great with a filet! — 11 years ago
Continue to enjoy the big fruit of the Peachy Canyon Zins! — 11 years ago
Nice fruit and acidity with a long finish. Not a big Napa cab — 12 years ago
Wonderful!!! Big Bang for the buck. — 12 years ago
Man, this was good. Little earthy/minerally. Not super big but I think that's 2010 in the napa valley (right?). — 12 years ago
Big flavor. I liked this a lot. — 13 years ago
Fruits are closed down at this stage. Blackberries, black cherries, touch of blueberries. Tannins are still still big. Coffee grounds, black tea, dark dry minerals & dark earth, tough leather, black olive, vanilla, sprinkle of herbs and a long dry finish. This one is going to need a few years to show itself. 9.0 with the potential for more in 5 years. — 10 years ago
Very nice rose for a non rose fan. This is a big complement.

Jon F's choice for the Grand Canyon. Big with a cherry finish — 11 years ago
Big Full Flavored Red: Love Paso Robles Zinfandels. This 2012 Zinfandel from Peachy Canyon in Paso was delightful. Nice bright red in color and a taste of berries. — 11 years ago
Marvelous ripening all around the clusters. One big puncheon. Great bargain off of suggested retail. — 11 years ago
Big fan of Smasne wines - not your average Rose. Beautiful nose - medium body - great color — 11 years ago
Picked up this one at Albertsons on a lark and popped it a week ago. Firestone winery was the first estate winery on the now famous Foxen Canyon Trail, established in 1972. The Santa Ynez Valley offers gravelly loam with rocky subsoils that impart great mineralty and distinct finishes. You can drink this one now if you find it, but it should drink well for the next couple of years. Decant for a hour to enjoy it fully. ~$20 | #firestone #merlot #santaynezvalley

Fresh and fruity with bright acidity. California trousseau showing it can hang with the big grapes. — 9 years ago
