2011 Domaine Bernand Moreau et Fils 1er Cru La Cardeuse Chassagne-Montrachet Monopole - Very fresh nose of fresh-picked cherries, plums, hints of cocoa, fresh-picked mint, and subtle hints of cola and white pepper. Juicy with the fresh-picked cherries, fresh pomegranates, and hints of orange pith, gushing on the mid-palate with cranberries and blueberries, finishing with cocoa, light sandalwood, and peppercorn. Medium Tannic structure. — 10 years ago

This is hands down one of the best passetoutgrains that I've had. In a great spot right now showing flavors of semi-tart cherries with decent tannins. This blend can shine and Moreau knows it too well. — 8 years ago
Still very fresh at 16 years. Not bad for an appellation with no grand cru vineyards. — 9 years ago

Fresh, mild orchard fruit, stunning! — 8 years ago
Pretty darn good. Tremendous length, nice acid balance, and no sign of premox. This could keep going--will plan to sit on the rest of my bottles — 9 years ago

A Chassagne rouge that is delicate and inferential but not without weight. Surprising. — 12 years ago
