Urkulu 2011 - Dutch bottling Jean Berger Roermond - 40% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon, 20% tempranillo - 12 months on American and French oak - cherries spicyness in smell, velvety structure - quite a surprise from Navarrra Spain — 10 years ago
Dark berries, woodsy barnyard funky nose. Sexy smooth with hints of spice box and juicy berries on the palate. Black raspberry lingers on the finish. — 10 years ago
This Pinot Noir Marsannay was bottled by Wim Berger in Roermond. It has ripened beautifully, fine drinking. Still has lovely fruit, good balance and elegance. Loveit! #bourgogne — 10 years ago

Roasted plums, raspberry, smoke. Savory & Syrah-like, except for a pronounced Alpine minerality. No reduction, no brett. — 9 years ago
I always taste apricot in this wine, year after year. Very clean and transparent. Dry with nectarines, peaches, and talcum powder. So beautiful! — 10 years ago
Rocking blend of groovy grapes planted in 1954. Sylvaner, green Hungarian, Riesling, Berger, Gewurtztraminer, & French colombard. Drinking great! — 11 years ago

Thoroughly enjoyed what this wine will be when it grows up. Huge structure, lots of layers, with rich lean black fruit as the best supporting actor. — 9 years ago

Drinks like a crisp fall day. Lightly cooked dark fruit--plums and dark cherries to my mouth--with a sturdy structure around it and some cedar, smoke and maybe a touch of sweet spice under it. Gonna swallow it down with stew so, we'll see. — 11 years ago
