I Legni Frassino Grappa Stagionata In Barrique. Pale green-lemon hue. Medium intensity of grapes, nuts and almonds. Solvent spirty, woody notes, vanilla, smoke, varnish, pear drops. With water added, more fruit aromas to the fore, with wood relegated to the background. Matured. On the palate, off dry, warming alcohol, medium body, silky textured. Fantastic, Rosso Del Bepi shows up only when its not to the level of the title Amarone. Still, round, ready earlier than Amarone. Flavor of plum, dried black cherry, power, blueberry, full body that matched greatly with gnocchi calabresa — 11 years ago
