We know it's a tall statement, but we're going for it: Lapierre's Morgon is the benevolent king of happy maker wines. Perfectly juicy sweet-tart red fruit, earth & herbs - it just never fails to put a smile on our face. It's the perfect match for a sunny spring weekend. — 9 years ago
Crisp, fruit forward, and a hint of sweetness. Great with spicy food! — 10 years ago
Great value dinner wine. — 11 years ago
It is only through benevolent souls and their ability to share something so fine and rare that I would be able to taste and review an '89 Chateau Morgaux.
This vintage was awarded 100 points by wine spectator. Unbelievable concentration and complexity which only under the best conditions can deliver so smooth and long lasting an impression. This is a wine I will always remember. — 8 years ago
A tranquil cab. Peaceful grape fields bordered by cherries and orange trees and benevolent elderly men smoking. — 10 years ago
Alsatian Pinot Gris, like my bastard child, I neglect you for months and until you stare me in the face I forget how great you are. I could drink this one for days. Bruised yellow pears, truffles, corn chowder, pecan and marzipan. So good... So. Good. — 10 years ago

Despite being the kind of guy that watches NASCAR for the 🔥 auto crashes, this wine was worth it's praise. As you could tell by the label design, this Cab blend was made in concert with Mr. Harlan for people that have been rumored to pay $100,000 to get their name on this unique blend. A benevolent act of kindness to gift me a bottle of a wine that has been said to beat out Scarecrow in '06. It really really was a great wine — 7 years ago
