Imported by Kobrand. From Piero Incisa della Rochetta, grandson and heir apparent to the founder of Tenuta San Guido, of Sassicaia fame. He fell in love with a Patagonian Pinot Noir at a tasting in New York, traveled to the Argentina and discovered two abandoned Pinot vineyards from 1932 and 1955. This wine blends those two and one more recently planted vineyard. Pinot from the desert. — 12 years ago
Strikingly pure and feminine nose of red berries, with some forest floor and coffee. This is soft, pretty, and complex. One of the all-time worst labels I've seen (and one of the most disgusting corks), but this was a very pleasant surprise from Piero Antinori. — 11 years ago
