2013. Deep Ruby coloration. On the nose, strong black cherry, strawberry, spice and tobacco. On the palate, cherry, with an oaky, vanilla finish. Strong tannins. — 9 years ago

Natural (no added sulfer/biodynamic) from Jura. Bright ruby red color with purple hue, the nose is fragrant with fresh red berries aromas mingled with meaty funk. Fresh palate. Finish- Red fruit flavors evolve with earthy, mineral, and peppery notes. — 11 years ago
Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. Easily the best wine I’ve had from Maple Vineyard. This is Zin! — 7 years ago
Refined silky.....no.... abstract, cunning and wildly spicy. It is everything I expect from extreme farming on the Sonoma coast. I bought this at release and is all that I imagined. — 8 years ago
Skin contact night? Interesting wine. Kinda reminded me of Viognier without the bitterness or extreme aromatic lifts, with the Condrieu-like textures. — 8 years ago
Best Pinot I've ever had (haven't had many). Flavorful, deep — 9 years ago

Clear deep orange in the glass. Big bosomy nose of white flowers and candied orange peel. Full rich body with medium plus acidity. Lilies and orange peel lead on the palate. Medium finish with a hint of wet stone. Great on its own, but lives for food. — 9 years ago
Best Chardonnay — 9 years ago
This excellent Sangiovese is unfiltered and has a maroon rather than ruby tint. It is slightly fuller of body than your typical Sangio and extremely polished, and worked well as a pairing with vegetable pasta dishes, with chicken sausage on the side. Plum and currant flavors prevail up front leading into a tart black licorice finish. — 9 years ago
Wonderful taste, will definitely buy it again! — 10 years ago
Wonderful, smooth, slight tobacco, dark cherries and great finish. My bottle was signed by winemaker on 9-6-2010. — 10 years ago
