Bought at a cool little combination vintage clothing shop/natural wine store in Tallinn. Super hip, I know; sue me. Natural Loire Valley (this is VdF but I'm pretty sure this producer is located in Touraine and I'm guessing the grapes are at least mostly sourced from there as well) rosé bubbles consisting of a blend of Grolleau and Cab Franc. Semi-sparkling/frizzante. Unfiltered, a quite small amount of sediment is visible floating in the bottle. Not sure whether or not this qualifies as a pet-nat since the production method isn't totally clear from bottle info but it fits the character of one regardless of production method. A bit funky but delightfully so and its not over the top at all. Slightly unripe wild raspberry and strawberry, some funky yeastiness that's almost lager-esque (also pours like a beer as well in terms of bubble texture/level of carbonation), a tiny bit of heavy cream, and wet granite and quartz stones, not unlike the stone of the beach of the island we just left (Hitis in the Finnish archipelago) where we spent a few days at my favorite place on earth, my family's shared summer cabin. Overall, somewhat like a sour beer in overall character, in a really cool way. Med. (+) acidity keeps it juicy and fresh. Super yummy. Great pizza wine. — 10 years ago
This is a fantastic little gem from Sardinia. It's all about the funk. That barnyard funk. Very smooth mouthfeel with ripe red fruit. It has a fresh, natural taste to it with loads of herbs and spices. The finish is chalky and long. Cannonau is typically fuller-bodied and pairs well with red meats, this baby is no different. Open it, let it breathe, then gulp it down. — 10 years ago

My favourite wine of all time. Thinking of you Sam. — 13 years ago
Though it may be fashionable now, to poo-poo on natural wines (no pun intended), I liked this quite a bit. The color was off-putting (think murky and purple-grey), but most people who had it blind thought it was Poulsard. It had that light weight body of a Jura red. Tasting though, I got figs and lavender. Good acid. I would not say I like All natural wines, but I do like the ones that taste good. 2012. — 9 years ago
This ones for all y'all acid heads out there- zingy and fresh natural cotes du brian w/ a ton of attitude — 10 years ago
70 year old vines, clay soil. A perfect and classic Chablis. All natural fermentation takes 5 months, the patience and craftsmanship are evident. I'm buying a case, 'nuf said! — 10 years ago
Apologetically I have forgotten all the lovely details about this wine, but I remember it being fantastic and worth the higher price and allocation tactics. Happily am hanging on to many Latos from this vintage and am so excited about it 👍🏼 obviously inspired by good burgundy...and manages to be very natural, not much dress up is being played here that's for sure. Happily puzzled and surprised. 👊🏼 — 11 years ago
Mind Blowing, all natural, no added sulfites burgundy! This is fresh with beautiful cherry aromas and hibiscus notes. Extremely well balanced with a long mouthwatering finish. — 12 years ago

Gordons tasting Deiss 6/6/17. $20. No 2. Clean nose of white flowers and peach notes. Soft yet balanced palate that is silky yet with undercurrent of tension. Looking forward to the rest of lineup! Nice value. Blend of 13 varietals! Hope nose represents Alsace! Ripeness is goal. All natural. — 9 years ago
Excellent all the good characteristics tropical fruit viscous. Very good little more acid and it would be one of the best — 10 years ago
Was perfect on a hot morning, mosquitos fading away for the day, surveying all the dishes that need to be cleaned and the food that should have been put in the bear box the night before... — 10 years ago
This is such a fun wine to drink. All natural, no sulfur, clean, fresh nose, fresh on the palate, just a blast to drink. — 11 years ago
Faugéres Domaine Leon Barrel, all natural wine for a long time, great potential and awesome tasty , this is just the standard , great color and long profound taste , great with some grilled meat like tonight. Syrah, cinsault, grenache and carignan makes this happen, bravo. — 11 years ago
Px grapes are crushed when they become raisins. All natural process. Thick, tainting. Elegant with aromas of figs and ripe fruits. Intense. Great dessert wine. — 11 years ago
My new favorite Spanish cider from the Basque region! Perfectly balanced in all of the characteristics found in ciders of this region. Refreshing acidity, unfiltered tannic texture, still retaining a soft, round profile, fresh, not too tart dry apples. Yum! — 11 years ago
Had at Verre Vole in 10e in Paris

100% Frappato from Vittoria. Very very reductive. Fresh squeezed black and red cherries. Touch of VA. Earth and minerals are pretty obvious. Bright and high acidity. Silky smooth tannin. Slight green on the finish which is very pleasant. Everything is so well integrated and feels natural. Had high expectations on this and it doesn’t disappoint at all. — 8 years ago
