The cork is glass- neat! Has a pretty savory smell right off the bat, it reminds me of church. Really full bodied, not intensely fruity, effervescent at the finish. — 9 years ago
2006 vintage. Antonio Galloni rated it 92. Needs to open up a bit but delicious off the bat - not heavy or thick, great acidity. Will be delicious with red wine braised turkey. — 10 years ago
Probably opened a bit too early but it was my birthday so oh well :) definitely decant. Smelled cranberry off the bat and then it changed into a very smooth Cab. Very nice with the burgers we had. — 10 years ago
Wow! Huge right off the bat and super complex, multi-layered. A lot of stories in 1. — 10 years ago
I like it. Balanced right off the bat. — 11 years ago

Pretty good right off the bat, gets better after a bit of time. Can taste those tannins! Would drink again. — 7 years ago

There is a hanging note of green like kiwi and lime zest off the bat that awakens the palate without a jolt of bitterness and it's fantastically soft yet vibrant. Steel > oak here, the oak comes out like raw green apple sauce. Lemongrass, some salted honeydew.. It feels kinda chalky on the gums after awhile — 9 years ago
Unique flavor profile. Not so peppery right off the bat, which is nice. But it's still there. Regional grapes sourced off property by their same winemaker due to their fire a while back. — 9 years ago
Excellent. Not bat piss — 10 years ago
I could tell right off the bat I could tell there was some clone 777 in here. It's one of my favorite PN clones with notes of wet earth and mushroom but with soft red fruit. Nice structure and acid. I'm enjoying this a lot. — 10 years ago
Honey on toast straight off the bat, walnut oil and a very light touch of twiglet makes me think this isn't in the greatest shape but shows some great complexity. In the mouth there is snappy red apple skin from the off though the mouthfeel is rather thin, sleek on the finish with plenty of class. — 10 years ago
Surprisingly structured for a 2011. Approachable right off the bat. Good oak integration — 11 years ago
Chocolate, lemons, dark cherries, powerful fruit, medium heavy body — 11 years ago
Dis da good stuff. Happy birthday Shlomo. — 8 years ago
Very good Cab. Had w Stanton clan for Xmas and we all loved it — 9 years ago
Plum and dates right off the bat....very similar to my previous note, but seemed to pair better with Duck and Bacon Hash! — 9 years ago
Inky black, peppery nose, plumbs& raisins. Made for meat — 10 years ago
Licorice and blackberry. Truly wonderful red. Masterful wine. — 10 years ago
Sharp spicy refreshing — 10 years ago
2010. Animal and earthy off the bat but opened up with juicy finesse! — 11 years ago
Expresso hints right off the bat. Settles down to have a meaty lasagne finish. Really interesting for the price point. Didn't see this one coming. — 11 years ago
