Love this wine. Dry as the bone this dog so desperately desires. — 10 years ago
This reminds me of my youth. Great body, full of flavour, enjoyable, desirable, killer looks and popular with the Baroness... I had given up on the Aussies but this brings them back into the wine cellar... Bacchus pack up the boat we are heading to Adelaide to try out some more.... Great with any beef dish — 10 years ago

This is the Italian stallion I have been waiting for... This is like a feather weight boxer, appears light but then boom it hits you.. The baroness and I had so much of this juice we even danced together for the first time since our wedding day... It's a bush of berries with a complex flavour plate which frolicked across the taste dance floor like a ballerina... Have it with roast beef... Butchers of the world forget about selling horseradish and beef gravy... Sell this and your beef sales will soar.... Bacchus this is going in the box for when we meet.... You bring the beef — 10 years ago

This was bought for the baroness senior. She likes a full bodied bottle. I knew there would be glares from the baroness but hey what the hell.... This is an explosion of wood, berrys and all things nice. It's complex and a test but by God it's worth it. They should rename this roller coaster as every taste sensor in your mouth wants it. This may help me move on from the politeness of a Pinot.. Whatever the occasion, feast or date this is your only man - if it's yo challenging for your guests give them a choice of boiled water or a can of some lager... Arise my new friend we will be together for the rest of the century... Thank you Bacchus, you have looked after me again..@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

2007 Franciacorta Riserva. With a linen label. Be still my heart. Not super memorable but weirdly, still awesome... satisfies all desires from quafability to texture. — 11 years ago
I am sure I have spoken about this wine before...it's now a bottle of recovery as I was on Crianza for the last 5 hours... Lovely but too much... This is a star.. I will be staying with this until the Goose or the XO take over.... Or the ultimate.... The baroness instructs me to cease trading..... Nice one - a gift from clonskeagh — 11 years ago
Excellent, fruity, and dry. One of my new favorites. — 12 years ago
Fabulous and cost effective for my Champagne desires. — 9 years ago
Very smooth, nice finish and fruity. Definitely desires a second try. — 10 years ago
First time with this bad boy. A lovely middle weight Champagne. Lean and fresh without sacrificing power and complexity. Satisfies multiple champagne desires simultaneously! — 10 years ago
iv. What is thy mouth to me? A cup of sorrowful incense, A tree of keen leaves, An eager high ship, A quiver of superb arrows. What is thy breast to me? A flower of new prayer, A poem of firm light, A well of cool birds, A drawn bow trembling. What is thy body to me? A theatre of perfect silence, A chariot of red speed; And O, the dim feet Of white-maned desires! — 10 years ago
This came directly from the loins of Bacchus... It is superb. I can't do it justice.. Buy it; pour it; enjoy it then juice it... This is my new love, the Baroness has been shoved from 4th to 5th...@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

The Beatles wrote " when you get to bottom and go back to the top " this sums up my recent consumption.. The baroness and I disagree about this Italian Stallion, so much so I'm in the spare room - otherwise known as the lager lounge.. This beauty has brought me back to the top, I feel closer to Bacchus.. It explodes like popping candy with an array of flavour which go for beyond my Neanderthal tongue... It's smooth but challenging. The local priest is due for a visit I will ask him to bless the case I intend to buy tomorrow.. Long live Italian grapes@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

This was a label pick... It wooed me in like a lady posing in an Amsterdam window... I loved it, oak, fun, playful on the back of the palate.... It reminded me of the first time I tasted a wispa bar..... The baroness was shocked that I selected a wine on looks alone... You can judge a wine by its cover.... This wine found me wandering through the library of O Briens - thank god it did@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

This is the king of Baberas... Stunning, flowy in the trap, taste sensation. The baroness fell in love again when she tasted this..... And not with me.. There is rumour she has been spotted liking the bottle... We will be back for a full out attack on this bottle of sin and joy... Long live the king- we bow to you and your joyous juice — 11 years ago

Delicious spiced white — 13 years ago
A baroness value selection... Top marks for value and not a bad bit of juice... Nice and light with narrowed flavours... This is a great bottle for a communion.. The family and friends will be impressed, you can drinks lots of it and still count the communion money...in saying all of this its a very good summer wine — 9 years ago

Nice blend — 10 years ago
Отличное сухое вино в сегменте эконом. — 10 years ago
Made me think of the baron and baroness and wishing them a happy Christmas and a great 2016! @David Monaghan @Baroness Catherine Monaghan — 10 years ago
I rated this purely as a Pinot... Horatio himself would have given the other arm to sample this.. It is full of spice, light and has the most beautiful colour.. I imagine a juice island with lakes, woodland and waterfalls with this Pinot poring from the rocks. It is a lovely simple blend which can be consumed at any stage- post breakfast obviously. The baroness is a pure Pinot girl.. She left me asleep on the sofa and brought her new friend Nelson to her sleeping quarters- this is her new love.Bacchus this may
not make your cellar but as the wine god I instruct you to brush your teeth with this juice.... Their famous rugby team should be renamed the All Pinos as that is what NZ is great for.@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

There is an Italian sale on in the O Briens library.. This is export is up there with the Godfather, Zola, Parma Ham, Pavorotti, Paresse and Sophia Loren... It enters the taste chamber and dances on every part of the tongue.. I love oak but this bit of juice is full of taste poke. It covers berries and spice with no oak, it's light, bright, sprite and is keeping the Baroness content and bright.. Bacchus should place the Jesuit AMDG across the label... Exceptional value also... If your dating a Galway girl this is one for Date night@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago

Vallado.. Do... Do... Do... One of the best Douros I have tasted... Complex structure with the excitement of the first teenage kiss. It thrilled my taste buds and then danced at the back of my throat... Baroness very happy as it was the wine at her birthday celebration... I believe the vineyards of Douro are soon to become world class....@Delectablewine Delectablewine — 10 years ago
The Cuvee, made of 100% Chardonnay from the Monticello Appellation, has vibrant aromas of pear and ripe apples; the taste is perfectly balanced, crisp and refreshing. It desires to be poured a second time and I did so with pleasure. I paired my second offering with a Key Lime Truffle. — 11 years ago
While not as deep as their saignée, their Blanc de noirs fulfilled all my desires with it's ripe red red berries and lengthening acidity. — 11 years ago

This is a cracker. I'm having it with fish and it's only adding to the meal..Bacchus the flavours are leaping across my palate testing every sensory tip... Juve beat Barca the other night and this is another victory for Italia... let's hope the baroness is feeling like a Roman battle later... — 9 years ago
