Smooth, nice aroma like the cab version. Citrus flavored. — 8 years ago
With 2 hour lamb shanks - beautiful aromas of Blackberry — 10 years ago
Superb! Very nice balance of floral and spicy. Lychee type fruit and tastes like it should be sweet but no sweetness, which is hard to describe until you've had it. Had with spicy Thai fishcakes and held up wonderfully. Well worth a try! — 10 years ago
Super drinkable Chardonnay. — 11 years ago
Fantastic wine, not usually a huge fan of Italian wines but this is superb. — 11 years ago

Oaky, big Aglianico. Very structured with lots of tannins. Something vegetal in the finish. Probably should have let it age a few more years but very enjoyable nonetheless. — 8 years ago
Can smell the oak. Dry with hints of cherry. Strong goes down smooth, the taste lingers. — 9 years ago
Very nice Aglianico. Tannins are powdery and nicely integrated. Wine opens with air and is very pleasant after 1hour. Think this is 1-2years from hitting the sweet spot. Went perfectly with braised oxtail — 10 years ago
With a splash of fizzy water and vanilla — 10 years ago
Juicy, fruity, yummy. Very mild smokey finish — 11 years ago

Campari lovers rejoice! Remember hanging at Leopold's on S. Main St in AA. I loved their kegs. — 11 years ago
Delicious Zin! Very round and balanced. — 12 years ago
Fruity Claret with a bit of sweetness — 13 years ago
Bought with talico.com had high ratings but i prefer the taleo wines (lower rating) better. This is definitely clean with substance but doesn’t have much character. Like the girl in your highschool twenty years ago who was nice (and you still remember her) but boring. Wine on its own is fine but I had a dark chocolate afterwards and it lost out. — 8 years ago
Aromatic and a little off dry. Beautiful with the right food — 8 years ago
Colour: almost no transparency, dark red, violet.
Nose: quite ripe and concentrated nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, red/black cherries, plums), notes of violet and red pepper, old wood bark, pine wood, vanilla, Mediterranean spices, bay leaves.
Palate: medium body, moderate acidity (not a lot), quite warm at the palate but not too much. Red fruit coming through (raspberry, red cherries), tannins quite evident, and quite strong, wool-like tannins and astringency. Rustic feeling. More astringent in the finish. — 10 years ago
Smooth and rich! — 10 years ago
Deep dark purple, blackberry pie nose, nice oaky vanilla notes. Very tasty — 10 years ago
Solid, but fell a bit flat compared to the Nightmare on Brett aged in Port barrels. This was Batch 5 from June 2015. — 11 years ago
Gorgeous Aglianico! — 11 years ago
Fresh EV Riesling, lemon zest — 12 years ago
Tasty, dry but fruity and makes you salivate for more. — 14 years ago

Full bodied and strong. Smells of berry, and tastes of pepper. Smooth and long lasting finish. A bit boozy when first opened. Would go well with strong foods, like fatty meats or heavy butter or rich garlic. — 7 years ago
