This is an absolute belter. Rich, voluptuous and beautifully rounded. Great intensity and length. A marque Chassagne Montrachet for me. — 11 years ago

Riesling. Montecarotto, Italy. Acidic. Pairs well with any meal. Vermentino. Like Sauvignon Blanc. From the Marque region. Red Thai curry fish cake with a pickle. Goes well with fish. — 10 years ago

Classy, very, very classy. At $40, it's remarkably good value compared to other grand marque non-vintages. — 7 years ago

Billecart is fermented very slowly at very low temperatures, an innovation that was introduced by a German brewer who married into the family in the 1950's. The reserve is composed of approximately 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Meunier. I find it the most zesty and refreshing of all the grand marque styles, and always of very high quality. — 7 years ago
