This is a great bang for your buck. Super well balanced. Not to acidic. Not to tannic. Just right. Cranberry, dried cherry, some red plum with a nice medium body. Very impressed. — 8 years ago

This is the first vintage of Kallisti oak fermented & barrelled, by Yianni Boutari & Yanni Voyatzi (currently the head Oenologist of Boutari). Slightly oxidative complex nose, with honey, salinity, roasted nuts, touch of waxy nose, with a medium body fascinating & delish... and with a vibrant acidity. Boutaris at least in Naoussa & Santorini has crafted some jewels, that are still alive & kicking even after 20-30 years.
