I detect a bit of disturbing band aid notes (as in Brett) which leads me to believe this otherwise great wine/vintage won't last long so drink and enjoy!

Savory start to dinner. Light yet oily and easy to drink. Sitting right on the fence between light citrus sauv blanc and the fatter less fruity versions of Viognier. Perfect preparations for socializing and wood fired fish dishes. Liquid grace. She's quiet, smooth, enlightened, and relaxed. Nothing too strong or too weak about her. Wow, so different then the 2015 Sancerre I just had. You can tell this is slightly older. Minerality, ripe fruit on the nose. Some not overly tart lime the palate. The last one was very one dimensional, while this one is two dimensional. — 9 years ago
