Coltibuono

Cetamura Chianti Sangiovese Blend 2015

Badia di Morrona

Vin Santo del Chianti 2009

I am not a big fan of Vin Santo so I was pleasantly surprised with this 2009. Sweet but not cloying with refreshing acidity and a light mouthfeel. The blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana gives a nice nuttiness and generous apricot and almond on the nose. — 9 years ago

Occhio di Pernice Vin Santo del Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2004

This wine reminds me of my childhood- Guayaba paste or guava paste ( only a cuban sommelier would understand) , orange peel and honey. Made from Malvasia Nero. — 9 years ago

Badia di Morrona

Taneto Toscana Merlot Sangiovese 2007

Back in Italy again! Wow. Syrah and Sangiovese. Ripe, deep dark fruit upfront with a fresh tantalizing finish typical for Chianti. — 8 years ago

Toscana Sangiovese 2011

OMG! Old Vine Sangiovese from a vineyard near Badia a Passignano made by the guy who was behind Le Pergole Torte for 25 years. Unreal! Unfortunately he makes only 2400 bottles so this wine doesn't virtually exist ... — 9 years ago
