BEST of last weekend's bacchanal. — 11 years ago
Luvin' finding this rustic yet elegant gem, a Vermentino by one of the many alias nicknames, on a summer night in New Orleans. Opulent with hints of black walnuts yet crisp as the breeze that tousles the backyard of Bacchanal! — 9 years ago
We rang in a festive 2014 with the bright yellow NV E. Barnaut 'Grand Reserve' Grand Cru Brut Champagne. This bubbly revealed honeyed scents of fruitcake, apricots and buttered toast. A long spicy finish with nuanced floral notes was the starting point for a new year.of bacchanal delights. — 10 years ago

Drank a cheers in memory to my fallen New Orleans colleague, Chris Rudge of Bacchanal, as his second line was held Sunday. This is a favorite wine we all loved sharing with people. This year's has the same glories: quinine, brisk citrus pop, the joyful fizz that refreshes, and perhaps w a dollop of extra texture and a splash of density this year, or perhaps to remind us to love life now! Cheers, Chris, in gratitude of your Nola tribe you summoned together. — 9 years ago
