Had with pot Au ceu du furnas San Miguel Azores. Such a full bodied beautiful blend... not over powering ... the nose is as good as an Napa cult cab as Ive ever had! But the nature of this juice reveals in lovely gravelly fruit with a great backbone of soft tannins. One of my favorites. In a restaurant, we paid €32. Congrats and thanks to the Alentejo group for such a terrific and well priced wine! — 8 years ago

Interesting autochthonous varietal from Azores. Saline, low acidity. Very mineral and fresh. — 8 years ago

Very nice white wine from the Azores. Indigenous grape, Arinto, from the Pico area. Lots of unripe citrus peel and stone on the nose. Mouth filling and precise with excellent acid and a long finish. Expressive yet restrained. Great savory saline quality - a wine to be enjoyed over some time as it unfolds. Excellent with oysters and other seafood. — 6 years ago
