Intense red fruit, medium to full bodied with good freshness, slightly herbal minerality. When first opened, it smelled similar to a Tignanello. But then, after an hour or so, the Cabernet Franc began to open up and dominate, and it began to actually smell very similar to a San Leonardo (ie cold climate Cabernet) — 10 years ago

Very herbaceous, strong leaf aroma with braking thru tropical fruits, but green herbs are dominant. In mouth nicely acidic, lemon, with medium intensive bitter-sweet gooseberry aftertaste wip. — 9 years ago

Native grapes biancolella, forastera, uva Rilla and San Leonardo grown in Ischia island and dried. A dry passito with an almost dark golden color, a bouquet of dried apricots, honey, white flower, citrus peel. Very pleasant in month, long, not too sweet, perfect with... Apple pie! — 12 years ago

Classic green pepper and green olive over dark fruit, I like it quite a bit. — 7 years ago
