Nice pleasant, well balanced, smooth from the beginning to the end. I like acid start with flavor and peppery and spicy finish in balanced way.. This is it. — 10 years ago
Light peach flavor with a touch of honey, very god for the price — 10 years ago
A Primitivo Riserva that is incredibly reminiscent of a reserve Amarone. Silky smooth and not too sweet. Highly recommended to all my friends in the mood for an Interesting Amarone like experience. — 11 years ago
Very yummy and refreshing sparkling Pignoletto! — 12 years ago

Hey, you like wine? Cool. Me too. You should try this one. It's delightfully smooth up front and ever so slightly spicy & dry towards the end. It's like if Benedict Cumberbatch and Sofia
Vergara had a rap battle officiated by Marlon Brando (as Don Vito) about the origins of the California wine industry and you had a front row seat. Yeah. — 11 years ago

Da vigne di 60 anni ottimo esempio di Primitivo di Manduria, peccato per l'alcolicità forse un po' eccessiva, 16 gradi mi par di ricordare! — 12 years ago
Beautiful balanced soft fruity. At 1 if by land 2 if by sea in NY. — 13 years ago
Needs to decant & open for 30+ but is lovely.

Strong kick but great flavor. Heavy liquorish and dark fruit with a lot of tannin. A break from the norm can be rewarding. — 9 years ago
Shoe polish nose, wonderful mesh of red fruit and acid with a lovely complex balanced finish. — 10 years ago
— 10 years ago
Really fun. Savory funky spicy side of the grape. Nice acids. — 10 years ago
Slightly cloudy gold color (unfiltered) with lime zest, honeysuckle, and stone fruit aromas. On the palate, it's full-bodied, fresh, and very persistent with a wonderfully supple texture. Flavor-wise it shows white peach, lime, honey, and a suggestion of persimmon flavors with a long mineral laced finish. Bottled unfiltered. Battonage during 6 months sur lie aging in large oak casks impart some complexity and a wonderful creaminess. 13% alcohol — 11 years ago
Ottimo, biologico mix di sapori intensi. Gustoso ed elegante — 11 years ago
Great value and change up from the French grape blends. The nose raisin & molasses- Armarrone like. Full taste of fresh sundried fruit - plums/dates/figs with a tad pit of smoke which completes a rich full end. — 13 years ago
