This vintage is darker and more concentrated than in the past, and at 14,5%, this is not your standard rose'. Raspberry, strawberry, an overall smoky/earthy feel, and minimal funk for a natural wine. A touch of sweetness shows up on the finish. Consistently good, year after year. — 8 years ago
Shining at Pasquale. More fruit and less funk than typical bachelet but it's much appreciated — 9 years ago
Very interesting day one. Very high acidity w funky nose after uncorking. Almost shocking acidity. Dark ripe stone fruit. After a bit of air, mellows and becomes more balanced. Really liked it regardless of when I tasted. But Not so interesting day two and three. Would definitely buy again. — 6 years ago
Gummy worms and sea salt nose, elderberry and lemon syrup mouth, fantastic ripe mouthfeel, strange but very pleasant — 7 years ago
pasquale with om. also the benanti etna rosso — 7 years ago
Rubied in color with bricked undertone. French oak treatment stands out, with vanilla bean, hazelnut and caramel. Cherry liqueur and barnyard notes stand out as well. Fresh red fruit on the palate, with forest and licorice undertones. Unique in style with the oak treatment. Delicious and savory. Pairs well with meat pie pizza. — 8 years ago
Herbal and floral notes. Melon on the palate. Bright tropical fruits. Wrapped in a creamy mouthfeel, hints a barrel fermentation. — 8 years ago
