The 2013 Escolha Branco is a blend of Avesso and Chardonnay, with a few years of age, offers perfumy aromas of dried honey and orange blossom. Barrel fermentation lends texture, refinement and creaminess. This is a balanced, poetic wine, bright and fresh with delicate mineral filaments wending in and out of stone fruit. Kissed with honeysuckle and orange blossom, Quinta de Covela's 2013 Reserva Branco is an elegant cuvée of Avesso, Arinto, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Fermented at low temperatures in French and Austrian oak barrels for 14 months, this exceptional blend receives lees contact and it's nicely integrated, lending body, soft texture and balance.
