Wonderful example.
Nose displays hazelnut, brioche and beeswax. Palate is perfectly balanced and weighted. Honied white fruits combine with moderate acidity, and subtle oak. Whether it’s chard or pinot, ABC has a great wine portfolio, at a modest price.
And yes, drinking mid-week - we broke down like old deck chairs - guilty as charged 😔 — 5 years ago
Lovely soft flavours with rich grape overtones — 5 years ago
Quite light ruby , with a wide ruby garnet rim. Quite sweet red fruit at first with some raspberry , strawberry and red cherry notes , dried flowers as well , rose , violet and an earthy note . Quite elegant and precise . On the palate this is again elegant and restrained , very pretty red fruits , juicy but still fresh acidity . Light tannins balanced alcohol . Cherry , raspberry and wild strawberry . Herbal tinged , slightly earthy finish . Drinking very well now and will continue to do so over the next 3-5 years or so — 6 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2013 “Au Paradis” pours a deep ruby with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears and some signs of light sediment. On the nose, developing the wine is developing with notes of brambles, plums, tobacco, some leather and woody notes, vanilla and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and the texture is pretty plush. To my palate, pretty much a fastball right down the middle of the plate and not quite as intriguing as the “Les Pavots” from the same vintage. Drink now with some patience and through 2038. — 9 months ago
Part of their "Blue Series," Isabelle, named after the birth of Jim’s daughter in 1995, was first top end Pinot Noir that was a blend from different locations, 6 in 2015. Ruby, Aromas of berry fruits with citrus, herbs & floral notes, aged for 2 years in new French Oak. On the palate layers of gentle ripe fruit flavors of raspberry and cherry with citrus and oak wrapped in gentle spice. Wine has great depth, soft tannins, well integrated, savory, long ending with a nice mouthfeel. Very Nice! Last bottle! — 5 years ago

Kept in 55 degrees 70 % humidity over the last 19 years. She’s as fresh as a daisy. 81% cab balanced with merlot. Still has all the sandalwood and casis at the forefront. Perfect wine to celebrate an amazing Christmas. Cheers y’all!! — 5 months ago
