Got that barrel taste. Great with roasted flavours. Medium finish soft tannins. — 5 years ago
Well done, needed the decantering. A "smooth" finish. Well balanced. — 8 years ago
Only white from Arterra Wines. Light and pale yellow. Very clean nose, with some pears and apricots. Clean and crisp palate. Tangy acidity (6/10) like when you bite into a Granny Smith apple. Undertones of some white fruits and tropical fruits. Very refreshing light to moderate body with a dry moderate plus finish. Solid riesling made by Jason. Drink till 2020. Grapes actually come from the Finger Lakes region. — 9 years ago

Tons of flavour. Bright notes of green apple, citrus fruits, and white flowers. Tons of creamy, mineral notes. Crisp and clean, but still lots of oak spice and fresh butter. One of the best chardonnays I've had in a long time. — 5 years ago
Third wine from Arterra Wines. Crimson red with garnet edges. A little more smoke on the nose than the Cabernet Franc, and more perfume. Undertones of leather and white pepper too, nicely layered. Darker characteristics on the palate, some berries too. Rolls down your tongue with an almost papery texture. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) with a moderate body, slightly fuller than the Cabernet Franc. Long and lingering finish. Would be great to try this in a couple years to see how it integrates and develops further. Drink till 2024. — 9 years ago
Tons of buttery flavour. Notes of ripe apple, melon and citrus with nuances of oak and vanilla. Medium-bodied and rich with a long finish. Best one I've found at this price range. — 5 years ago
Interesting smoky flavor — 6 years ago
Last real wine from Arterra Wines. Crimson red. Pretty tight to start, cranberrries, slight smokiness, leather and some yeast. Palate is covered in dark cherries and strong acidity. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and fuller than the Malbec or Cabernet Franc. Long and lingering finish. This wine needs at least a year in the bottle before touching again, like Jason said he just bottled this and it is not yet ready. Definitely has some great potential! Drink till 2026. — 9 years ago
So delicious! New vineyard from the children of friends of my parents. Experimenting with the Tannat grape in Virginia. We loved, and this would age well. — 10 years ago
