Armenian Wine Company

Stefano Di Blasi & Federico Cerelli

Toscana Red Blend 2013

This superTuscan wine was an amazing and versatile food wine, standing up bravely to a meal of Thai peanut-coconut shrimp, vinegar cucumber/carrot-mint salad, and Armenian spiced steak over a bed of spinach-couscous roasted red peppers. Excellent! — 10 years ago

Very good Armenian Brandy. Exceptional discovery. The only brandy not produced in France which has the right to call itself "brandy" although written in Armenian language. There is always something new to discover!! — 11 years ago

Jada Vineyard

Passing By Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot 2011

We discovered this vineyard on a quick trip to the coast. Not to be swayed by the knowledgable staff or the beautiful surroundings, we brought home 2 bottles of this lovely can blend. We were not disappointed. Lush, smooth, with just enough fruit without being 'sweet.' Stood up well to Armenian dolmas. A new favorite. — 12 years ago

Maran

Areni of Malishka 2009

My friend Justyna brought this Armenian red back from her recent trip to Poland. I've never had wine from Armenia but it's pretty damn nice. Blind taste me, I'd say small artisan producer in Languedoc. — 11 years ago
