The 2012 Kindred is 100% #azwines #azwinecountry in the house! This GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) blend is a collaboration between several vineyards/winemakers in AZ, 1 of which is @caduceuscellars. Each vineyard contributed barrels of particular varietal(s) the result is a light bodied red, Crimson hue, spicy black pepper. Smooth as all heck with equally smooth finish. The fruit is turned way done. You get hints of raspberries but nothing too dominate to qualify tho as a "fruity" wine. — 8 years ago
I felt in love with this great wine years ago, in Jerome. Finally I came back here to taste it again, in his (her...) hometown. Grazie. — 9 years ago
Oaky Cali style sangiovese. Dry, tannic. Cherry from the grape, vanilla from the oak. Opens up a lot. Could use some age. — 9 years ago
2012 Arizona Stronghold 'Nachise' Syrah Grenache Mourvèdre blend, #Arizona #Azwine @azstronghold. IMO this is one of the best reds ASV produces and shows the promise of Rhone varieties in AZ. Beautiful bouquet of crushed violets and blueberries followed by wild blackberry, red plum and desert thyme notes. The Mourvèdre definitely shows through in this medium-bodied, elegant blend. Long, soft and silky finish. #wine #sommelier #syrah #GSM — 10 years ago

Perfect white...soft peach balanced by hints of pepper. — 8 years ago
The Diddler. It definitely has a diddle in it. The first wave across the tongue is a sweet melody, floating flowers and oak, a juicy melon sweep and then an assaulting attack that is most welcome in the mid-palate. You keep coming back for more knowing exactly what’s going to occur, and yet excited when it’s the same intensity and taste. Truly a white wine I enjoy repeatedly. — 9 years ago
Old world meets New Mexico in this Ancestral Aglianico. Paired perfectly with spicy meats, veggies, mozzarella cheese and tomato baked on a round slim gluten bread. My favorite — 9 years ago

Have yet to open the 2010. Would enjoy to hear some feedback on this from others. My experience with these wines is that they are not built for aging as one of my 2008 Naga was on its end cycle. I'm looking forward to opening this on Fathers Day 2014. We'll see how that goes...Edited on 9/18/14, opened on 8/1/14 for last broadcast of WCCC in Hartford, CT and shared with several of the Dj's. Seemed fitting that a hard rock station & a hard rockin Vino would pair well together. Needless to say, the 2010 Judith is a powerhouse of crimson brick, leather, tobacco leaf. Big tannins. We sampled through half the bottle then recorked it to share with 2 customers of mine 3 weeks later. In that 3 weeks time, this mountain of a Cab finally opened up with this velvety mocha covered espresso bean mouthfeel. Should've let it rest for another few years but the time was fitting to share with some special people that brought Maynard's music to the masses of CT. I have a 2011 Judith that will sit for several more years, waiting for hard rock to return to the airwaves of CT. \m/ — 10 years ago
