Another really strong white wine courtesy of Wine Library! On a roll with the whites lately. Citrusy, sweet and slightly sparkling. Nice choice on a warmer night in Cleveland. — 10 years ago
Montanegro I Cabernet @ Barcelona — 11 years ago
My favorite drinking wine. The 2012 vintage is a bit smoker than usual; normally it's quite sweet — 12 years ago
Crisp, sour, so frefreshing on a hot day chilled — 5 years ago
Tart yet round. Light frizz. Delightful picnic companion. — 6 years ago
Muscat is very noticeable on the nose, that distinctive grape aroma (how few wines actually smell and taste of grapes). On the palate, a hint of mandarin orange or if we’re being fancy orange blossom, to go with a slightly unctuous mouthfeel that I presume is the Pedro Ximinez. Slightly sweet, as you’d expect from such a blend, but with a rustic charm, not too polished. Stone fruit and a little bit of salinity to keep it interesting. Sourced in Montreal for about $55 in the summer- I’d buy it again, though it’s not in the same league as their Pedra de Guix — 7 years ago
Tasted while visiting Devaux, in the Côte de Bar—the house itself, an historic building just off the bank of the river Seine. Thier non-vintage Cuvée Rosée is tutu pink, with a fine bead it offers a pretty sensor arc of rose petals, anise, red berries and pastille mints. Fresh and convivial on the palate, it's not a rosé Champagne of tremendous depth or power, what it communicates is poise and pleasure. Sample — 9 years ago
Awesomely fresh and green with out being astringent. 3 months in barrel without being oaky. — 9 years ago
Full body, rich in aromas and with intense flavors (species and wood), well balanced and with a delicate touch at the end. — 10 years ago
Cabernet i merlot de vinyes velles en terreny calcari. Vermell violat poc dens. Aromes molt potents de fruits vermells i madurs . Tanins intensos i fusta present que no molesta per apreciar gust de fruit molt madur amb final potent de torrats . 14g Marta Pedra. Montblanc. — 11 years ago
Bone dry. Floral. Bracing acid and minerality. Wonderful. The Somm at A16 did a fine job walking us through the more esoteric parts of the wine list. With food this bottle shows an extra gear of versatility. — 11 years ago
Never really had a better white from Spain! — 12 years ago
Jammy! Strawberry jam. Charcoal on the nose. Some dark fruit there. Fruit forward for sure. If there was oak, it has resolved itself nicely at this point. This has aged well and is in the right part of the arc. Alcohol at 15% but I think it’s shy of that. — 5 years ago
A summer wine in the best way. Zippy and fun. Notes of berries and a slight carbonation. — 6 years ago
Both loved it — 8 years ago
Syrah with balanced fruits, especially red, good tanins, acidity and structured body. Very balanced oak french barrels. — 8 years ago

2012 Réserve Grand Arc — 10 years ago
Dark berries macerated in violet syrup. So many violets. Creme de violette soaked violet cake in a field of violets. A little riper than I prefer but loads of concentrated fruit. And violets. — 10 years ago
Really good value, really hard to get your hands on Priorat wines in the UK generally speaking. Not a fantastic Priorat but very drinkable! — 11 years ago

Classic chalky minerals and green apple complimented by exotic notes of guava, coconut cream, lime, and red miso. Perfect arc. Stunning. — 5 years ago
