This one grew strong in the dark! Enormous acrid/tannic nose that calms, but never fully dissipates. Thick and leggy. Thought it was going to be a fruit/tobacco monster, but, again, it settled down to a pretty well-rounded cherry bomb.

A little hot with cherry notes when first opened. After about 30 minutes, the fruit, and subtle vanilla & spice come to life. Good wine that should be better after a few years on its side. — 8 years ago
