Not as intense as the savagnin, but a tasty and complex bottle. The Chardonnay adds some bright Apple to the mix, hint of funk, nice salinity and minerality. — 9 years ago

Another interesting wine from Rosenthal. 2010 vintage...Slightly oxidized, with resin and medicinal / herbal notes, but crisp and delicious — 11 years ago
Smoke & earth on the nose. Ripe red & black fruit held in check by bright acidity. Grainy tannins — 11 years ago
More voluptuous than typical for variety — 12 years ago
Impossible de retrouver le terroir du jura, c'est très bourguignon et vraiment délicieux! On peut penser à un beau blanc de la côte châlonnaise. — 8 years ago
Incredibly interesting wine. — 9 years ago
Like drinking the earth. Awesome Jura wine. — 9 years ago
2007: The nose doesn't prepare you for the lovely cotton candy sweetness on the palate. A very pleasant wine with medium weight and a nice uplift of sweetness toward end, yet with a good acidic cut to keep things in check. Would like to have again. — 10 years ago
2011 Chardonnay, so pure! — 10 years ago
This + Szechwan green beans? Delish. Another triumph, @baygrape! I'm ready to re-up very soon. — 11 years ago

Firstly the nose is driven by strong Sherry notes. Gets better & more harmonious with air. The Sherry turns into curry plant, fennel blended with hints of apricot & yellow stone fruit. Like a laser beam on the palate, very salty, vibrating and grasping. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Wild and lively. Has some raw red meat. Develops polish with air. Electric. — 10 years ago
Natural (no added sulfer/biodynamic) from Jura. Bright ruby red color with purple hue, the nose is fragrant with fresh red berries aromas mingled with meaty funk. Fresh palate. Finish- Red fruit flavors evolve with earthy, mineral, and peppery notes. — 11 years ago
