Lovely. Absolutely lovely. D'Canter.
Also Portuguese wine tasting at D'Canter. Most Alentejo wines: very acidic, very tannic. Always good to let age for a while. Earthy smell, leather, coffee. — 9 years ago
Highly drinkable, smooth and fruitful. — 9 years ago

Muito bom com peixe grelhado — 10 years ago
A deliciously dry tinto, enjoyed in Praça do Comércio on the port side of Lisbon. This tinto had a smooth taste that faded into a sharp bite that would eventually leave a lingering bitter fruit taste on the back of your tongue. — 11 years ago
Great Syrah from houdeks for 8 bucks — 11 years ago
Excellent especially for price. Had at portugalia cervejaria on water in Lisbon — 8 years ago
Dark berries macerated in violet syrup. So many violets. Creme de violette soaked violet cake in a field of violets. A little riper than I prefer but loads of concentrated fruit. And violets. — 9 years ago
Bright, raspberry, slight minerality. Really nice wine. — 10 years ago
