Checking in on this one. Purchased a case for the restaurant 2 years ago and it wasn't ready. Now it's beautifully subtle, quiet and peaceful as the place it comes from. I want to sleep naked in a bed with sheets that have the same texture as this wine. — 7 years ago

Wow, what an undervalued wine! So aromatic, rich mushroom and foraged raspberry. Warm ripe fruit so well balanced with high pitched acid. Doing lots of nice things for my brain. Love this region and this style! ⛰🍄🍓 — 6 years ago

Arbin? Savoie? Mondeuse? red? Ah, OK, the Quenards, must be good then, right? Yep! Tight, snappy, savory, somewhere between a cru Beaujolais and a cote du rhone, but zippier. 12%: great with roast chicken. — 8 years ago
Perfect balance. Soft and delicate on the nose. Creamy like marzipan and banana cream. Just a touch of oak and a touch of minerality #savoie — 8 years ago

Really flavorful, touch on the sweet side but it tastes like flowers and there's nothing that I don't like about it. Simple and good. No clue where I'll find it again. — 10 years ago

Light and juicy....and well priced. Good by me. — 8 years ago
Really great wine in a string of excellent Savoie wines I've had recently. Push/pull intensity, a tiny and welcome amount of oxidation, and chalky length for days. — 9 years ago
Pleasant surprise smooth with a slight pepper. Enjoying at Char Cut Calgary a suggestion of their sommelier Matt. Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
Jean-Yves Peron is making some of the best natural wines I've ever tasted! Not only is he an incredibly entertaining man, he is super kind!! This 2004 mondeuse was beautiful with red fruits and lovely earthy undertones!! — 11 years ago
