Antoniolo

Travaglini

Gattinara Nebbiolo 1973

A relatively affordable, great bottle of 1973. I thought it would never happen. (And it's Travaglini when I'm a Nervi/Antoniolo supporter...) Smoky, fruity and balanced. The wine gods are good. — 8 years ago

Probably. I find recent vintages a bit oaky, so age should help. But I wonder if they make the same wine they did in 1973.

Nice, fruity and flowery nose; not sweet but very well rounded on the tongue. Good finish, though a little bite-y too. — 11 years ago
