Subtle but luscious black fruit and slight oak and earthy notes on the nose. Well balanced but I found it did need to breathe a bit for me to best enjoy. Had a lovely wine and cheese platter for afternoon snack on Christmas Day. Was fun to enjoy these flavors and how they played with various cheeses and antipasto. — 6 years ago

This was a pleasant surprise wine for a great price. Chelsea and I enjoyed it immensely with bread, cheese, antipasto salad and Zuppa Toscana (homemade) soup.
