Excellent rosso. Perfect with the wild boar ragu. — 6 years ago
Lemon in colour. Notes of Orange peel and Quince on nose and palate. Medium to full bodied. Refreshing uncomplicated drinking. The base wine, Grillo, used in Sicily for the fortified Marsala - a style that has fallen out of favour in recent times. Tasted again 30 weeks later on 10th May 2019 with consistent notes as above. Tasted again on 9th October 2019 with consistent notes. Also notes of old apples and quince as previous. A delicious Mediterranean white and excellent QPR. — 7 years ago

A great bouquet of leather, spice and complex fruit that is duplicated on the palate. One of those rare times when a bottle is opened when it is in its sweet spot. — 10 years ago

Deep ruby red very smooth with hints of spice and oak — 6 years ago
Smooth and dark. Dry rich red wine. Very good, solid big red table wine. Not too complex but grows with age. — 8 years ago
Classic B-flat Barolo - meaning it sings in the best key, it's easy to drink and it hits all the right notes - a crescendo of tar and tart fruit, backed by lightly percussive tannins. I got one more bottle, so I can play this tune again later. — 8 years ago
Red/ black fruit, licorice, leather. Fantastic. — 9 years ago
