Ripe black cherries dripping juice, a bit of new leather purse. One that’s going to last. Slightly Puckery tannins. Oak planks, smooth and warm with the sun. If the Southern weather weren’t record breaking mid-October, I could wear one of my lonesome sweaters out on the porch as the sky pinks. I’m content, dog by my side- just delicious (the wine). Crab chowder would be tasty- along with some Kelsey Lu cello. — 8 years ago
Very bright and fruity. Well-balanced — 8 years ago

Smooth, complex Bordeaux blend leading with Merlot. Brings back great memories from L.I. — 9 years ago
Wild style. A lot of herbs, black cherry, wet leather, earth and a hint of brett. A bit thin on the palate, missing the tension. — 9 years ago
Nothing can compare — 10 years ago
Such a nice surprise! The wine is for sure lean, but after an hour opened, she started to reveal a brilliant front and mid palate that start in the red fruit-friend zone, but then things get serious- like, meet the parents serious on the back end. Injections of super bright acids, blood orange, and black tea steal the show! OLD WORLD flair from fruit that was farmed the right way. Nothing tricky about this wine, from the steak tartare, peppercorn and red plum nose, to the shimmering but not sharp acid. More please. — 10 years ago
Rosé of Cabernet Franc. Delicious. BEST rosé at the 2014 NYWFC. — 11 years ago
Incredible for the price. Vanilla, blackberries, cherries — 8 years ago
A wine from Anthony that's finally ready. Just kidding. It's the volatile acidity holding this wine together. Completely resolved tannins. Ripe lean; blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries. It's almost all fruit with just a hint of earth and minerality. Fun to drink. I always like to ask, what were you doing in 1978? Nice of Lilian Barton to model the bottle for my photo. Thank you for bringing this wine. A real treat to try. — 8 years ago

After a wonderful day with the Winemaker, he convinced me that this was a pop and pour today. He was right!!!! Beautiful expression of a Cab Franc. @Anthony Biagi @Ian Fenwick - Hourglass Wine Co — 7 years ago
