My husband and I first tried this winemaker at Caves Madeleine, our favorite restaurant in Burgundy. I believe it was also this first time I had heard about Jura. We’ve since fallen in love with these wines and Jean Francois Ganevat in particular. This excellent old vine Chardonnay has notes of melon rind, honey and citrus and good minerality as well as a mouth coating richness. — 6 years ago
By no means Jean Francois' best white- but strides above a bunch of other efforts from idiots. High texture, laser acids, light apple-funk and depth. Awesome. — 8 years ago
Great "mouth rinse" for 30+ C Paris evening. For those keeping score at home, this was under Alsace section and *NOT* Jura. This is *NOT* Chardonnay. This is Anne & JF Ganevat and not simply JF Ganevat. — 9 years ago
