Tasted 19/10/2015
Authentic, lush & stupendous red by Russo-Swiss winery of Marina & Renaud Burnier - indigenous Krasnostop, aged 18 months in oak barrels.
Deep inky purple, dark carmine rim. Refined legs.
Constantly evolving nose: mulberry, saskatoon, sweet spices, black pepper, licorice, blueberry, black currant leaf, raspberry, flowers... chocolate.
Medium-plus body, well-structured and balanced. Mulberry, chokeberry, thorns, huckleberry, cocoa, raspberry, black cherry.
Lingering finish.
Paired lovely to Russian Black Angus rib eye steak with wild berry sauce. — 9 years ago
Paired with Wagyu Beef tenderloin and black angus ribs. This is a "grand vin de bordeaux" - typically the producer's best wine. — 9 years ago
2011 vintage. Once opened great flavor perfectly matching a black angus Fiorentina. — 10 years ago
Beautiful flavours of blackberry, plum and liquorice with some dark chocolate and vanilla. So smooth and easy to drink! Absolutely beautiful with Angus beef! — 11 years ago
Very good but maybe not $25 good. Other top rated wine as good. — 11 years ago
Excelent choice with angus steak — 9 years ago
"Very Berry," said my wife. We paired this steak at Black Angus. It's very Zin and very California. Yummy! — 9 years ago
Excellnt wine to go with Angus prime Delmonico steak. Nicely dry and medium to full bodied. — 9 years ago
Mooi rood. Erg smaakvol bij Black Angus. Zowel robuust als elegant. — 10 years ago
Creamy cherries, tobacco, and currants are carried along by grippy, yet fine-grained tannins. Sharing this with friends over a grilled Angus ribeye! Any hint of oak only provides slight tertiary tones. — 10 years ago

Cote du Rhône Gigondas. Vin puissant, délicieux avec une cote de boeuf Black Angus. — 9 years ago
An intensely fresh and pure smell, so complex, it feels like a whole forest on the nose. Then comes a stunningly elegant palate, some oaky notes and some beautiful aerated red fruits. Love it, I just enjoyed it with an Angus steak: it was just priceless. — 10 years ago
Excellent Amarone. Went really well together with black angus flank steak! — 10 years ago
A mirror of its terroir, this Diamond Creek is multi-layered, super packed and multi dimensional. Still tight, it boasts lots of mature red fruit, borderline jammy but melted with a beautiful meaty, savory core. Powerful and intense, this is serious. I would have it with a short-rib and Angus Burger, truffle mayo and smoked provolone. — 10 years ago
Nice strong Aussie red! — 10 years ago
Gout de la Vigne- Mendocino county. 67% Syrah 33% Grenache. Dark berry, plum, dry, nice length. Delectable with Angus beef. — 11 years ago
