Wow wow wow wow a deep, complex and rich wine that blew everybody at the table away. Great value at $10 and pairs great with a heavy pizza. — 8 years ago

A extremely nice everyday experience. The type bottle of bottle you grab from the refrigerator and let warm up on the table while you make cacio e pepe. Nice. — 9 years ago

Cherry in front, dry & lingering, chewy. I like it & it was one of the least expensive of this grape, but still a bit much for me. — 8 years ago
Must say, best Italian wine I've ever had. — 8 years ago
Pepper, blackberry, licorice nose. Lifted fruit, great balance, there's a nice dark cherry Sangiovese character. — 8 years ago
We got fooled on this one. So musty-dusty smelling that we thought it was corked or bad, so we just set it on the counter. The next night we tried it again for kicks and decided we should decant and see what we have. Good decision! Triple decanted and let it sit for awhile. We would have waited another day if we could, but had other plans so went ahead and drank it. Five hours later it was still opening. Next time we'll probably open it the night before and double decant and let it sit all day. We didn't get the raisin flavor this time. Dry and lots of leather. Delish!! — 9 years ago

Hell yes. Delicate, balanced big refreshing bubbles for summer. This Italian sparkler from the Veneto is comes from master Barolo-maker Livio Sassetti as part of his war against over-sulfured Italian bubbles. Pink pomegranate, candied tangerine peel and guava notes with a hint of plum - from the Merlot, no doubt. Elegant, zesty and flamboyant with an in-your-face creamy finish. Extra-dry spumante, like extra-dry Champagne, is in the range we call "off-dry" in absolute terms. For reference, wine that is still in the absolute dry category can have up to 9 grams of residual sugar; this wine has 12; cocacola clocks in at 110. — 8 years ago
Pleasant but light Nebbiolo. A bit tart and a touch much acidic than I would like. Easily pared with lighter and heavier foods. — 8 years ago
