Nicola catena is the Robert Mondavi of Mendoza they advanced in 15 years what it took the rest of the world 200 years to get to this level. They take from the five family vineyards for this wine. The historic rows are now put on the label. This is the best vineyards and they look for the best location in those vineyards Angelica named after his mother and this is the mother clone material. All the wineries built in Spanish or Italian architecture. Dark berry fruit blackberry and blueberry fruit with notes of licorice spice dark tobacco spice. Another vineyard has a dessert effect because of its low altitude this site gives it structure. Adrianna vineyards is one of the highest and this is the most important violet flowers and freshness and acidity — 11 years ago

Angelica is a fortified wine traditionally associated with the Mission grape, from which it was made since the early days of California winemaking. V. Sattui instead uses the fresh juice of the Muscat of Alexandria grape and enhances it with brandy. — 9 years ago
